Beaches-Topic

Today's topic is beaches. (in case you don't remember, I randomly ask my facebook friends for blog topics and this was one of them). Everyone loves the beach. I think people who say they don't are just kidding themselves. I'm not saying everyone likes everything about the beach.
For instance, I don't really like getting in the salt water. But I love to lay out, hang out or play in the sand all day. Are you telling me if you were in the above picture...you couldn't find a way to relax and have fun? Pull up a chair and read a book while you hear the waves crash in, so peaceful. I could picture my hubby and I nestled under one of these pretty white umbrellas. He would probably have a bucket of beer, and I would order one fruity drink after another.
To stay in one of these rooms would be heaven! I hear there is a part of the floor that is glass so that you can see the fishys! I would die! My hubby isn't big on vacations...so this is just a dream.
Could you imagine going for a walk with this breath taking scenery all around you? I can smell the sea air, can you?
A single lounge chair. Looks lonely huh? I think it looks relaxing. Get your suit on, sun screen, lay a towel down and read a good book.
I love the colors!
How about taking a nap in this hammock? I'm getting sleepy already.
Beautiful.
A cozy little spot...if you wanna get away.
Here's another spot for the hubby and I to relax. Sometimes you just need to get away, even if it is just mentally.

Pumpkin Patch

I am behind on posts, I know...trying to catch up. A few weeks ago I took my boys to the pumpkin patch. They had a blast.
When I looked at this picture of my oldest boy, Devon, I was like OMG, he's gotten so big. And Blake, he's just cute as can be.
Cute photo of Blake and I.
Then we put Blake in his costume. It was hot as hell. But it is so funny. When we put the "hood" portion of the costume on, Blake has this look like it is the heaviest thing I've ever put on his head.
One of the cutest pictures EVER!
Peak-a-boo!
Both of my boys have those gorgeous blue eyes. Not sure where they got them from, Daddy and I both have hazel.
Such a happy baby!
My boys and I.
He's complete with freckles!
Did I mention the pumpkin patch was on a Christmas Tree Farm? I love this photo.

A Wonderful Day Off

beautiful photo taken by my daughter Today I had the day off....and loved it. I felt like such a "SAHM" it was crazy. My daughter missed the bus so I took her to school. Then I got my two boys ready for school and daycare. I also got all my craft stuff in the trunk of my car to do a craft/baking day with a friend of mine. I took Devon to school. Then Blake and I stopped off at the donut shot because he turned 9 months today so I thought he should celebrate in some way so he brought donuts for his teachers and all his friends. After dropping him off, I was on my way for a fun filled day. I will post later about our baking and crafting. We had ALOT of fun. Also, we have a birthday/costume party for my 5 year old cousin tomorrow so it should be for a good post. Robert and I have never dressed up for Halloween so I'm excited. We are going to be an 80's rock star couple. I are the bomb!!! Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Rawr!

Took a few photos of Blake the other day. This one he is wearing a sleeper his Grandma bought him. He has some of the bluest eyes I've ever seen.
Here he is in his costume. He's a dinosaur. Devon was a dino when he was a baby for a few years as well. Perfectly cute and chubby baby!
Devon wanted a picture with his little brother. None of them turned out well. But this is better than nothing.
I love holidays, my kids, and taking photos of them. We might trek out to the pumpkin patch this weekend.

Just a silly hat

Let me start this off by saying becoming an aunt was one of the most exciting things to happen to me next to having my own kids and my wedding day! With that being said, I love to spend time with my nephew when I can. With having Blake just four months after Dalton was born I haven't had any one on one time with him but I take what I can get. I love to take pictures of him because he is such a flirt and a shutterbug's dream!
I had bought this $1 hat at Target over the weekend to take July 4th photos of Blake and thought it would be cute to get some of Dalton. I knew he wouldn't disappoint! And look at the photo....clearly he was ment to be a gerber baby or something with his adorable face plastered everywhere for anyone and everyone to view.
So, as you can see, he didn't try and take it off at all. He even posed for the pictures. Clearly he knows at a very young age just how easy it is to make his Aunt Jessie happy! I see many more photo opps and scrapbook pages in the works for this kid.
Then the real cuteness started! He really started posing now. He starts by sliding the hat over to the side. That's right, this isn't his first rodeo. He has been to Aunt Jessie's photo studio before and he totally knows how to work the camera. I have trained him well. Then the silliness starts.
He pulls the oversized hat over his head! And his head isn't small so to me, it's even more cute and funny. This makes him giggle with delight and tickles the rest of us to pieces as well. He is such a ham. Truely loves to be the center of attention...I'm guessing he might get that from daddy a little bit, lol.
We had fun...it really only lasted about 15 min but there are priceless pics of a little boy that finds joys in the simple things!
So I typical model fashion.....Dalton ends his photoshoot in style. Wearing his oversized shades, courtisy of mom, because his future is just that bright! Peace out to next time......gotta think of another photo shoot for him lol.
