Fat Tuesday

Yay!  I lost a pound!!  I drank slim fast for breakfast last week, that might have helped.  I have been having peanut butter sandwiches this week for breakfast and Chick-fil-A almost every day for lunch.  Still sticking to my meal plans so that makes me happy!  Saving money at the grocery store anyways.

Hope everyone else is doing good as well.

Alayna Marie

You were missed very much today, Alayna Marie.  It has been 2 years since you were taken from us.  I never met your brother and only met you a handful of times but you are in our family's thoughts often.  Every time we see a butterfly we say...there goes Alayna.  It has become your symbol.  It rained all day.  I know you just wanted to be all around us.  Don't worry baby girl, you will never be forgotten and hopeful justice will be served soon.  Sweet dreams honey, until we meet again.

I'm pretty excited and my counter is clean now.  I just need to decorate a little pen cup and everything will be complete.  Have a good weekend!

A walk in the Park

 Yesterday, I went to the park for lunch.  I haven't had many chances to sit and play with my camera...alone.  So I grabbed my camera and went to the park, alone.

Or at least I thought I was alone.  I found a few ducks there with me.

And there were ALOT of feathers.

It was such a peaceful and relaxing lunch.  I didn't even mind that I was walking around in heels.  If I had a blanket, I would have totally layed down on the grass and taken a nap.  Have a happy Thursday!

Fat Tuesday

So I gained a little weight.  I'm pissed.  Why is it when it was my time of the month I LOST WEIGHT and now that it is over I GAINED!  That just doesn't make sense.  So, during lunch I went and bought some Slim Fast.  I need to do something.  I eat crap at work, I know I do.  But I love food!!!!     I hope everyone else is doing better with their weight loss goals!

Homecoming

So my daughter is a Senior this year so this was her last homecoming.  We did the traditional photos in the front yard.  Then her friends came  over and we went down to the waterway for more photos.  They opted NOT to go to the dance!  So really, they just got dressed up so I could do photos and then changed and went bowling.....they could have done that on any given Saturday, but whatever.

It was fun but bittersweet.  Devon won't be going to dances for a few years but he's a boy and that just isn't the same.  I had fun none-the-less.
